Its been about 4 months since that last post and I'm free of that house
now. I've been free now for 2 and a half months. We leave the house with
no dirty dishes and you come back and there is still no dirty dishes. Its
great! Plus we have a very nice place for a rental. I son't know if we
will be having a house warming party or not. I'm thinking not, because we
don't plan on being here for too long and there is a point after which I
don't think you have have a house warming party anymore.
I'm going to be working again soon. I've been hired on a contract by
Statistics Canada as a Crew Leader to supervise the enumerators that will
be collecting addresses that the Census will be mailed to next year. This
a contract until the end of October. I will be working out of an office
in downtown Kitchener. I'm thinking that I might bike into work. Its
only 7.7 kms from here and I could use the excerise. My concern though is
the weather, the hot hot weather.

It was suggested to me about a hour ago that I should post another entry
here since my last one was not so happy. I agreed.. and I thought I
would write one when I got home. However this one we also be not a happy
one. I drove into the driveway to find that the outside light was not
turned on. But the kitchen light was on.. nobody was in it, in fact I
think most are asleep, so no need what's so ever for the kitchen light to
be on. On top of that the kitchen counter and stove, which were perfectly
clean this morning, were not in a clean state. So even when I have had a
great day (a good morning, a good FASS AGM and a wonderful evening playing
Settlers with Paul and Josh) it all gets erased by the people who live
here. Oh joy! |

My first entry in what seems like forever! I even had to start a new 2005
page and archive my 2004 page. I did this during the FASS theme
brainstorming meeting, that seemed to go on forever and forever.
Hopefully we will get a good theme for FASS 2006.
I was hoping to make this at least a happy entry but no... the wonderful
people I live with wouldn't permit that. There are but 6 people in this
house, 2 of which are myself and Josh. We were at the theme meeting
during today. When we left Khary was attempting to attach some
fender-like thing to his bike. Upon our return I went into the garage to
get my ruler/level (I was going to put up a shelf). I found that my
toolbox was openned and the trays were placed in front of it. Upon asking
the wonderful members of my house who had been in my toolbox the response
from everyone was that they had not been in my toolbox. That's funny
because neither Josh or I did it. There are a finite number of people in
the house, so one of them had to have. I'm not even excusing anybody of
stealing anything, I just want to know who had been in my stuff. But no,
that person obivously wants to piss me off instead of telling me the
truth. All I wanted was for the person to say "I looked in your toolbox
for ____, sorry I didn't close it back up." But no, that would be too
considerate for the people in my house. I actually had to gather them all
in the living room to finally get the answer to my question. Turns out
that someone living here last term was here on Saturday to work on his
bike and he was looking for a rachet and probably went into my tools.
This of course only seems to bring up more questions since nobody
currently living here seemed to know what he was doing in the garage. But
regradless I finally got my answer to my simple question, but had to pull
teeth to get it. Is it any wonder that I can't wait to get out of this
house?! That I spend some time of each day either looking at the rental
ads, or houses for sale or just dreaming about what it will be like not
having to wallow in or deal with other people's filth.
Now, will I still get that shelf up?
